It would finally seem the word and awareness campaign for FACS SYNDROME is finally being listened to (and so it should) I received a call yesterday from a very well known British midwife/friend that finally, people are covering the topic of Anti Convulsants in pregnancy. This is a topic that is rarely touched upon within pregnancy hence why figures from our medical team are so high. People are finally realising the importance of awareness and that it should be touched upon.

Apart from Epilim there are 9 other Anti Convulsant medications on the market STILL BEING PRESCRIBED that would fall under diagnosis of FACS SYNDROME.

Work is currently being done by myself and colleague Janet, within different areas and topics. An update will follow this post very soon.
